Rarebreed Sound was born in Oklahoma from a shared passion for music, audio and live experiences.
We believe great sound is more than a technical requirement. Sound is an art. It is the connection between an artist and an audience, between a message and the people receiving it, and between a moment and the way people remember it.
A great musician can be diminished by poor sound. A powerful presentation can lose its impact when it cannot be heard clearly. And an entire event can feel different when audio is treated with the attention it deserves.
That is why Rarebreed Sound exists.

Tell us about the event
Send the date, location, and roughly what you are planning. Takes two minutes.

We quote it
You get a clear price with everything included. If the event needs something outside the standard packages, we will say so upfront.

Lock the date
A 50 percent deposit holds your date. The balance is due the day of the event.

We show up and run it
We arrive early, set up, sound check, and stay with the system through the event. When it is over, we load out and you go home.

Questions we get a lot
How much does it cost to rent a sound system in Oklahoma City?
Our packages start at $ for up to two hours, and that includes delivery, setup, an engineer on site, and breakdown. Most events land between $ and $. Dry equipment rental is cheaper elsewhere, but you handle the setup and the troubleshooting yourself.
Do you just drop off the equipment?
No. Someone from our crew stays with the system for the entire event. That is the point. Gear fails, connections come loose, rooms sound different when they fill with people. Having someone there who can fix it is what you are paying for.
What areas do you serve?
The Oklahoma City metro, including Edmond, Norman, Moore, Yukon, Mustang, Midwest City and Del City. Events outside the metro are quoted with travel.
How big of an event can you cover?
It depends on the space more than the headcount. A closed room and an open field with the same number of people need very different setups. Tell us where the event is and we will tell you honestly whether our system is the right fit or whether we need to bring in more.
Can I use my own DJ or laptop?
Yes. Every package includes inputs for your own device, DJ gear, or microphone. You bring the music, we make sure it sounds right.
Do you do outdoor events?
Yes, with two conditions: access to reliable power, and a plan for weather. We will walk through both with you before the date.
What happens if I need more time on the day?
Additional hours are $ each, arranged on site. We would rather stay than cut your event short.
How far in advance should I book?
Sooner is better, especially for weekends in the fall and around the holidays. That said, if your date is close, ask anyway. Sometimes it works.
What do you need from the venue?
Standard power outlets near where the system will sit, access to load in, and about an hour before guests arrive. We will confirm details before the event.
